I am a freshman at UNL, double majoring in Sports Media & Communication and Broadcasting. I graduated from Millard North High School, and while I was there, I took up sports broadcasting. Over my junior and senior year, I called 11 football games, and near 20 basketball games. I also started and ran a school-sanctioned instagram account to follow our school's sports teams called "mnhs_Sportscast", where I posted game times, scores, player spotlights, and promoted our broadcast. I have done camera work for the regional Cactus League, ran tables at Grappling Industries competitions, as well as PA work for Millard North Baseball. I have also dabbled in sports photography, taking pictures for Millard North Track and Field.
At the moment, I am calling high school games for KRNU, as well as returning to MN to call events when I can. I am interested in taking my career down a sports broadcasting path, being able to do something that I love to do as a job. I have two years and counting of games under my belt, and I hope to add more by the week.
I watch any sport I can, write, exercise, and I am getting into photography.
